[Adjusting the Length of Your PP Walking Poles]
According to the World Original Nordic Walking Federation (ONWF) in Finland,
the recommended pole length is approximately 70% of your height.
For example, if your height is 170 cm, the suitable pole length is around 115–120 cm.
Adjust both sections of the PP Walking Pole so that the scale marks align at 115 cm,
then lock them securely.
Alternatively, stand upright with your feet shoulder-width apart.
When holding the poles, your elbows should form a 90° angle — this is the ideal length.
Users with longer strides may prefer to extend the poles slightly for better comfort.
[Wrist Strap Attachment and Wearing Instructions]
Each wrist strap is labeled “R” (Right) and “L” (Left).
Proper use of the wrist strap is one of the key features that helps you achieve an effortless and effective Nordic walking motion — allowing you to guide the poles lightly while saving energy.
1.With the wrist strap already attached to the pole, open the Velcro fastener.
2.Insert your hand through the strap, making sure your thumb passes through the buckle loop.
3.Grip the handle natureally between your thumb and index finger.
4.Adjust the Velcro to a comfortable tightness and secure it.
When worn correctly, the strap supports your wrist motion,
enabling natural swinging and efficient forward propulsion with minimal effort.
[How to Use the PP Walking Poles]
-
Grip posture:
After putting on the wrist straps, lightly hold the gooseneck grip with the space between your thumb and index finger.
You only need enough strength to control the rolling motion of the directional wheel — avoid gripping too tightly. -
Nordic “ski-style” motion:
Place the directional wheel slightly behind your body’s center of gravity and walk forward as if you were skiing.
Pull the PP Walking Pole backward to create forward propulsion — this push-and-pull motion activates the pole’s stabilizing effect and increases walking power. -
When using the PP Walking Poles, allow your arms to swing naturally.
Keep your forward swing moderate, and push back just enough to maintain the stabilizing and propelling effect.
Note:
If the pole does not provide proper resistance or forward thrust, the directional wheel angle may not be correctly aligned. Please adjust the wheel position before continuing use.
Maintenance method
【Clean after use】
Wipe the surface of the walking pole with a soft cloth or sponge after use to remove dust, stains and dirt.
【Proper storage】
Storage Enviorments:
Avoid leaving walking poles in wet environments for long periods of time to prevent damage or rust to the material.
Prevent Exposure:
Avoid exposing walking poles to prolonged sunlight to avoid damage or discoloration of the material.
【Regular inspection】
If the walking poles are found to be damaged or malfunctioning in any way, avoid using them.
